    Jerome Jewell is a business consultant who helps companies with organizational development and strategy.

    A veteran of 22 years in the corporate arena prior to starting his consulting practice, he began his career with global industry leaders such as the Chase Manhattan Bank and the New York Times. He found his calling with the IBM Corporation, where he held a variety of leadership positions, and his world expanded exponentially both in ideas and geography during his 13 years there.

    The influence of his wanderings across Greece, France, Mexico, Italy, Morocco, Bermuda, Argentina, Belgium, Tanzania, Kenya, Hungary, Switzerland, Monaco, Germany, the U.K, Canada, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica is evident in his work. His unusual outlook also reflects the perseverance and independent thinking required in his non-work endeavors, which include scaling Mt. Kilimanjaro, running the Marine Corps Marathon, and swimming the “Alcatraz Challenge” across San Francisco Bay twice.

    A native New Yorker, Jerome holds an MBA from Columbia University. He is on the instructional staff of the American Management Association and the Management Centre Europe, in Brussels, where thousands of managers have attended his leadership development seminars. He is also a former faculty member in Howard University's MBA Program. He has addressed a variety of audiences on management strategy, including Hewlett-Packard, NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, the American Marketing Association, the U.S Department of Commerce, INC Magazine's National Conference, the International Air Transport Association, The Bailey Company, Lucent Technologies, the AMA Human Resources Conference, and various civic organizations. His language skills include Spanish and German.

    He has made numerous appearances on the PBS television talk show "LeaderTalk", and his business column, “Beyond the Paradigm”, appears regularly in Emerging Markets magazine. Jerome’s articles have been published in Trade & Culture, Upscale, Women’s Business Chronicle, Delta Airlines Sky magazine, as well as The Denver Rocky Mountain News. He has also been quoted in Industry Week and USA Today.
