    Rita Bailey consults and speaks on the subjects of Innovation, Leadership, Teamwork, Culture and Customer Service. She has presented at conferences in the US, UK, Mexico, Brazil, Canada and Australia.

    She has provided consultation to companies, universities and associations on best practices and principles of people focused leadership. 

    During her 25 year career with Southwest, Ms. Bailey served in several key management positions. As Director of the University for People, she was responsible for the design, delivery and support of leadership, career services and professional/personal development for 32,000 Employees. As HR Manager, she developed strategic recruiting, outsourcing, benchmarking and diversity initiatives for a 10 state region. As Sales/Marketing Director, she was responsible for all travel agency sales, corporate, vendor and community relations. She also held positions as Public Relations Manager and Customer Service Representative. Rita twice received the Southwest Airlines President's Award for Outstanding Achievement.

    She has served on several Boards including the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau, Ronald McDonald House, TX Society Human Resources, and Vision 100. Rita currently serves on the National ASTD Board of Directors. She has been interviewed and quoted in publications including Business Week, Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, Corporate University Review, Sales & Marketing Executive, Corporate Meetings and Incentives and Minority Business News.

    Rita lives the philosophy that work should be FUN. Her passion is to help organizations focus on strategies that put People first and create positive work environments.
